Dining Room

Our dining room.  As formal as it gets.  I didn't include a formal dining room in the house as this serves as the formal and casual.  We have the eat up kitchen breakfast bar that seats four also, so I didn't see a need for an additional formal eating area.  The cabinetry houses an ice maker, beverage refrigerator, storage, and sink area.  A great area for entertaining or getting a morning cup of coffee.

Living Room Black and White Drapery

I chose this fabulous Black and White drapery for the living room.  It is a bit bold, but I couldn't resist trying something different.

I don't even know where to begin....I designed and built this home - a huge accomplishment for someone who started with a dream.  I've slowly been adding features, garden elements, paint, and furnishings.  I'm trying to make it a home that is truly lived in.  I'm hoping to share my ideas and sometimes not-so-creative solutions to living in a space that really works for my family.  It truly is a place I can call home.
